MARCH 2026
WED 4th – Newcastle v Man Utd Live on TNT at 8pm. Club opens at 5pm
THU 5th – RMPA Meeting
SAT 7th – GUINNESS SIX NATIONS RUGBY with Scotland v France at 2.10pm and Italy v England at 4.40pm. Club opens at 12 noon
SAT 7th – Newcastle v Man City in the FA Cup live on SKY HD at 8pm. Club opens at 12 noon, showing all of the other live FA Cup football
TUE 10th – Champions League Football – Newcastle v Barcelona in the last 16 at 8pm live on TNT HD. Club opens at 5pm
SAT 14th – FINAL WEEKEND OF THE GUINNESS SIX NATIONS RUGBY with Ireland v Scotland at 2.10pm, Wales v Italy at 4.40pm and France v England at 8.10pm
SAT 14th – Chelsea v Newcastle live on SKY HD at 5.30pm. Club opens at 12 noon
WED 18th – Champions League Football – Barcelona v Newcastle in last 16 at 5.45pm live on TNT HD. Club opens at 5pm
FRI 20th – Retirement do for Jo Eyre. Club opens at 5pm
SUN 22nd – Newcastle v Sunderland live on Sky HD at 12 noon. Club opens at 10am. There will be a free bacon sandwich for a limited number of early arrivals
MON 30th – Private Party – Gathering to celebrate the opening of the new Northumberland Train line

THU – 5pm to 11pm – Happy Hour from 5pm till 7pm
FRI – 5pm to 11pm – Fizz Friday all Night
SAT – 12 noon to 11pm – Happy Hour from 12 noon till 3pm (Ex Matchdays)

PARTIES IN THE CLUB – CHILDRENS ATTENDANCE
Due to a couple of issues we have had in the Club recently predominantly at family parties, with parents buying their children alcohol, we are now enforcing the rule that children are welcome in the Club for family parties, but anyone under the age of 18, must leave the premises by 9pm.
If any parent is found to be buying children alcohol, bearing in mind that this is illegal, they will be warned once, and if it happens a second time, their membership will be revoked. Any alcohol in the possession of a child will be confiscated without refund.
i trust that this makes sense, and that everyone understands our stand on this.

A reminder to everyone that the music in the Club is in your hands, with our free interactive Jukebox App.

BAR PRODUCTS
Due to dwindling sales, the Club has stopped selling Draught cider. This has been replaced with bottles from the fridge.
We are currently seeking a new product to replace the Cider on our bar and are trying to decide on a new beer such as Alpacalypse, or an extra Madri pump.
A decision will be made this month, and I will let you all know as soon as possible.
THE RETURN OF OUR FOOTBALL TALK-INS
Thanks to the perseverance of one of our Club members, we are proud to inform you all that in the Summer we will be bringing back our Football Talk Ins, with high profile football personalities from the region.
The first one will be a charity event, so there will be a small admission charge, but as soon as we get confirmation, we will let you all know how to go about securing your attendance.
1ST FLOOR PREMISES (FORMALLY EL GUAPO)
I have been informed by the landlord, that they are very close to signing a lease for a new tennant, and the premises will become some sort of Chicago Pizza style restaurant. No time scales as yet.
CLUB SECURITY
With the opening of the Stack opposite the Club, we have found a number of strangers trying to get into the Club. This would appear to have been by mistake, but it has happened on three or four occasions now.
Please be aware of this when you are coming and going, and do not let anyone tailgate you in. If you do not know them or recognise them, please challenge them, in a polite way of course.
It is your Club, so please help us keep everyone safe.
CCTV
The Club is looking to extend its CCTV system to cover the staircase and entrance doorway. This is predominantly for the security of our young staff, as well as the increased footfall on Pilgrim Street with the opening of the new Stack and the details of the above paragraph. There will be a monitor in the Club with the CCTV cameras displayed
